How to Download Your CAS Statement from CAMS and KFintech — Free in 2 Minutes
If you have mutual funds across multiple AMCs — say an SBI fund, a Mirae fund, and an HDFC fund — you’ll never find all of them in one place in your broker app.
But they all exist in one document: your Consolidated Account Statement (CAS).
The CAS is the most complete picture of your mutual fund portfolio. It shows every folio, every transaction, every current value — across all AMCs — in one PDF.
Here’s how to download it in under 2 minutes.
What is a CAS Statement?
A Consolidated Account Statement is a single document generated by either CAMS or KFintech (the two major mutual fund registrars in India) that shows:
- All your mutual fund holdings across all AMCs
- Every SIP installment and lumpsum investment with dates and amounts
- Current NAV and current value
- Folio numbers and ITIN numbers
Because it contains all historical transactions with exact dates and amounts, it’s the only document from which you can calculate your accurate XIRR (real annualised return).
Method 1 — Download from CAMS (camsonline.com)
CAMS services AMCs like HDFC, Nippon, SBI, Kotak, DSP, Franklin, and others.
Step-by-step:
- Go to camsonline.com
- Click “Investors” in the top menu
- Click “Mailback Services” → “Consolidated Account Statement”
- You’ll see two options — choose “CAMS + KFintech” (gets funds from both registrars in one PDF)
- Select “Detailed” (not Summary — you need transaction history)
- Enter your email address (the one registered with your mutual funds)
- Select period: choose “Since Inception” for complete history, or “Last 1 year” for recent data
- Click Submit
The PDF is sent to your email within 2–5 minutes.
Important: The PDF is password-protected. The default password is your PAN number in uppercase (e.g., ABCDE1234F). Some older accounts use the registered mobile number as password.
Method 2 — Download from KFintech (kfintech.com)
KFintech services AMCs like Mirae Asset, Axis, ICICI Prudential, UTI, Canara Robeco, and others.
Step-by-step:
- Go to kfintech.com
- Click “Investor Services”
- Click “Account Statement”
- Choose “Consolidated Account Statement”
- Enter your PAN and email
- Select “Detailed” and “Since Inception”
- Click Submit
PDF arrives in your email within 2–5 minutes. Password is again your PAN in uppercase.
Method 3 — Download from MFCentral (Fastest, No Email Wait)
MFCentral is a newer portal jointly operated by CAMS and KFintech.
- Go to mfcentral.com
- Log in with your PAN + OTP on your registered mobile
- Click “Account Statement” → “Consolidated”
- Download directly — no email wait
This is the fastest option if you need it immediately.
Why You Need the “Detailed” Statement (Not Summary)
Many people download the Summary statement, which only shows current holdings and values.
The Detailed statement includes every individual transaction — every SIP date, every amount, every NAV on that date. This is what tools like AFS Wealth Lens use to calculate your XIRR accurately.
Without the detailed transaction history, you can only see what you have — not what you’ve actually earned.
How to Handle a Password-Protected CAS PDF
CAMS and KFintech send password-protected PDFs by default. The password options are:
| Option | Format | Example |
|---|---|---|
| PAN number | Uppercase letters + numbers | ABCDE1234F |
| Date of birth | DDMMYYYY | 15081985 |
| Registered mobile | 10 digits | 9876543210 |
Try PAN first — it works for about 90% of accounts.
If you’re using AFS Wealth Lens, you don’t need to unlock the PDF yourself. Upload the password-protected PDF directly — the tool will prompt you to enter the password and unlock it within the browser. Your password is never sent anywhere.

Common Questions
I don’t remember which email I used for my mutual funds. Try your oldest email address. Alternatively, log into MFCentral with your PAN + OTP on your registered mobile — it pulls all folios linked to your PAN regardless of email.
My CAS shows funds I don’t recognise. Old folios from previous jobs, dividends reinvested as new units, or schemes that were renamed or merged. All of these appear in the CAS. A portfolio review can help you identify and consolidate them.
The CAS PDF is blank or corrupted. Re-download using the correct password. If CAMS has no record of your PAN, your funds may be registered with a different PAN or email — check your investment statements.
I invested through Zerodha/Groww — will those show in CAS? Yes. All AMFI-registered mutual funds, regardless of which platform you used to invest, show in your CAS. The CAS comes from the registrar (CAMS/KFintech), not the platform.
Download, Analyse, Act
Your CAS is the most honest picture of your mutual fund journey. Most investors never look at it — which is why most investors don’t know their actual returns.
It takes 2 minutes to download. 60 seconds to analyse. And it might change how you see your entire portfolio.
